Moved by passionEli Diez andNina Lamaison join forces and give life to Nómada, an emerging artistic olfactory and perfumery project from 2023, whose objective is to mergetechnical and creative aspects from two different places and apices of perfumery towards the same expression.
Together they carry forward "Perfuming is Human", the first perfumery magazine in Spanish.

Nina lives in Argentina; Award-winning independent perfumer at the Mouillette d'Argent International Perfumery Competition, she is faithfully dedicated to the conceptualization of the subtle world of aroma, through artistic works for boutique brands in her country.
ELI DIEZ / CREADORA OLFATIVA
Eli, based in the Basque Country, mixes her deep ethnobotanical knowledge in her creations, exploring wild and human aromas and new materials for her compositions.
She founded Gaua Project to share this biodiverse universe and currently exhibits at Olfactory Art Keller Gallery, NY.
I can't just create a scent and go. It is necessary to listen to a story, to look through a window at the scene that is taking place. Smell what the characters smell and hear the sounds or music they hear and even need textures. What's more: pinching the client's tonsil is the part I enjoy the most. It is a mixture of arts and neuroscience. It is a personal process, in the first instance, to later create a story in the collective mind, which they also participate in.
It is a daily learning, drop by drop. Each work, each client, each story. That is why I fervently believe that perfumery should be lived and not smell and break the chains of the mind.

That what arises from the approach to my smells and related visuals is the investigation and interest in self-knowledge as part of raw nature encourages me to compose. Raw Nature is the great dimension that governs my need to create the molecular world that surrounds the Gaua Project.
Ethnobotany and Hermetic Philosophy are my main object of study. I am moved and restless when the connection between the human being and nature is intense, with an automatic impact, plant aromas are the base that connects my work with social concepts and the taboo of human odors, preparing my own botanical extracts to incorporate them .
